The LTR <a href="https://lmsystems.nl/lineaire-geleidingen/splinegeleidingen/" spline guides from THK also feature grooves along the shaft length, arranged in pairs around the circumference. In these grooves – six in total – recirculating balls run. The angular contact of the balls provides preload and eliminates rotational play of the shaft.
On the outside of the spline nut, the LTR guides are equipped with two sealed support bearings for a compact guide design. Thanks to the angular contact of the support bearings with a contact angle of 30°, both radial and axial loads can be supported. This large contact angle contributes to high rigidity against moment loads.
The spline nut is equipped with a flange for easy mounting.
The LTR-A is a special compact version. In this model, the contact angle of the support bearings is 45°.
