It is recommended to mount the precision ball screw guides from the EPF series of THK on a surface with high resistance to deformation and high flatness. The four rows of balls under a contact angle of 45° do not circulate. The guides are intended for smooth-running precision applications with limited stroke. Thanks to the enclosure in a round plastic ball cage, there is no steel-on-steel contact between the balls, and particle generation is minimal. The ball cage minimizes the variation in rolling resistance of the balls, resulting in a quiet and smooth operation.
