The HSV series linear ball guides developed by THK represent a highly economical solution and are available in lengths up to 4.560 mm in a single piece. Rails can be extended further by coupling segments. Key features include:

Uniform load capacity in all directions

Thanks to four raceways positioned at a 45-degree contact angle, this linear guide offers equal load capacity in all directions. This makes it a versatile solution for various mounting orientations.

High load ratings and rigidity

The optimal line contact between the balls and the rail/carriage combination results in high dynamic and static load ratings. With four raceways, the system also offers excellent structural rigidity.

Standardised dimensions

All main dimensions (height, width, mounting holes) follow global standards, making this guide a reliable drop-in replacement for existing designs. Using standard dimensions helps reduce design risk in your machinery.

Single-piece rails up to 4.5 metres

HSV rails are available in lengths up to 4.560 mm in a single segment. For longer stroke lengths, multiple rails can be coupled without limitation.

Custom configurations

As the THK HSV series is produced in large batches, it is the most cost-efficient THK guide available. LM Systems offers these standard guides as tailored solutions – including custom preload settings, additional sealing options or surface treatments to enhance corrosion resistance.
