Principle
The AXDL linear axis from NTN-SNR are compact linear axis with integrated guides in a parallel arrangement. The linear axis are multifunctionally applicable, from single axis to complete XYZ systems.
Profile
The AXDL omega program consists of two profile sizes. The profiles are designed in such a way that very high rigidity is achieved in combination with a compact build.
The available options are: 160×66 and 240×100.
Drive
The timing belt in Omega linear axis is clamped on both sides of the profile and passed through the table part with a drive pulley. The linear axis is driven by the table part, making these linear axis particularly suitable for compact Z-strokes and extremely long stroke lengths.
Rolled STD timing belts reinforced with steel wires are used. These timing belts are known for their high power transmission capacity. By pre-tensioning these belts on the linear axis, high accuracy is achieved without the risk of belt skipping. The timing belts have a parabolic tooth profile, which reduces noise.
Guide
AXDL linear axis use integrated guide rollers or rail guides in a parallel arrangement, allowing for the absorption of high moments and loads. Guide rollers are primarily used for high speeds and low loads. The rail guides are extremely suitable for demanding and highly dynamic applications. Additionally, a low-noise movement is achieved, and the product is maintenance-friendly. The re-lubrication interval of the ball chain guides is approximately 5.000 km (depending on environmental conditions).

In addition to the standard linear axis, a wide range of additional options is available. We offer a broad selection of mounting options, reducers, as well as, for example, coupling shafts and sensors.
