Principle
The AXF linear axis from NTN-SNR are compact linear axis with integrated guide and drive. These linear axis are primarily intended for hygienic environments such as in the food or pharmaceutical industries.
Profile
The AXF linear axis use a 100×100 profile that is completely flat for hygiene purposes. The guide and timing belt are shielded with a stainless steel cover band, and all steel components are made of stainless steel. The profile is designed to achieve very high rigidity in combination with a compact build.
Drive
The linear axis use STD timing belts reinforced with steel wires. These timing belts are characterized by high load capacity. By pre-tensioning these timing belts on the linear axis, high accuracy is achieved without the risk of belt skipping. The timing belts feature a parabolic tooth profile which helps reduce noise.
Guide
With the AXF linear axis, you can choose whether to use guide rollers or rail guide with a ball chain. Guide rollers are mainly used for high speeds and low loads. The rail guide systems are ideal for demanding and high-dynamic applications. Additionally, quiet movement is achieved, and the product is maintenance-friendly. The re-lubrication interval for the guide systems with ball chain is approximately 5.000 km (depending on environmental conditions).
