Principle
The AXF linear axis from NTN-SNR is a compact linear axis with integrated guide and drive. The linear axis is specifically designed for hygienic environments such as the food or pharmaceutical industry.
Profile
The AXF linear axis uses a 100×100 profile that is completely smooth from a hygiene perspective. The guide and ball screw are shielded by a stainless steel cover band, and all steel components are made of stainless steel. The profile is developed to achieve very high rigidity in combination with a compact design.
Drive
By using rolled ball screw as the drive, high loads can be driven with high accuracy. Each linear axis can be chosen from different options in terms of ball screw load (stroke per revolution). For the highest accuracies, the ball screw nuts can also be supplied preloaded.
Guide
In the AXF linear axis, you can choose whether to use roller guides or rail guide with ball chain. Roller guides are mainly used at high speeds and low loads. The rail guides are extremely suitable for demanding and highly dynamic applications. Additionally, a low-noise movement is realized, and it is a maintenance-friendly product. The relubrication interval of the guides with ball chain is approximately 5.000 km (depending on environmental conditions).
