Economic (timing belt)-AXE

Principle
The AXE-Z linear axis from NTN-SNR are timing belt linear axis with integrated guide and drive. The linear axis are multifunctional, usable from single module to complete XYZ system, and very easy to generate through online configuration. The linear axis in sizes 40 and 60 are also available in Omega drive.

The AXE linear axis distinguish themselves from the AXC program due to the attached return heads, short delivery times, and are more cost-effective due to the optimized design.

The linear axis are of an unchanged high quality level as known from the other linear axis programs of SNR (AXC, AXDL, AXLT, AXS).

Profile
The profile is the same as the AXC/AXDL program and the available sizes are 60×60, 80×80, 100×100, 110×50, 160×66.

Drive
AT or STD belts are used. These are polyurethane belts with reinforced steel wires. They are characterized by being maintenance-free, having very low wear, and high tensile strength, making them suitable for linear axis for fast handling and positioning systems.

Guide
Standard AXE linear axis are equipped with guides with a ball chain. This makes them maintenance-friendly and low-noise, and they can achieve high speeds and accelerations. Due to the 45-degree ball arrangement, the linear axis are equally loadable in all directions.

Options
The AXE program can include many options in the configuration such as sensors, mounting options, reducers, as well as lantern piece and coupling. All options are delivered separately, making this program deliverable in approximately 3 working weeks.
