Compact (timing belt)-AXC

Principle
The AXC-Z linear axis from NTN-SNR are compact timing belt linear axis with integrated guides and drive. These linear axis are multifunctionally applicable, from a single axis to a complete XYZ system.

Profile
The AXC program consists of 5 profile sizes. The profiles are designed in such a way that very high rigidity is achieved in combination with a compact build.
The available options are: 40×40, 60×60, 80×80, 100×100, and 120×120.

Drive
AT and STD belts, reinforced with steel cords, are used for drive. These timing belts are known for their high power transmission capacity. By pre-tensioning the belts on the linear axis, high accuracy is achieved without the risk of belt skipping. The belts have a parabolic tooth profile, which helps reduce noise.

Guides
For each AXC linear axis, you can choose between using guide rollers or rail guides with ball chains. Guide rollers are mainly used for high speeds and light loads or in heavily contaminated environments, while rail guides are designed for heavy loads and moments. Standard AXC linear axis are equipped with carriage systems using ball chain technology. This makes them maintenance-friendly and quiet, enabling high speeds and accelerations. The 45-degree ball arrangement allows the linear axis to be evenly loaded in all directions. The re-lubrication interval for ball chain guides is between 1000 – 5000 km, depending on environmental conditions.

Options
In addition to the standard linear axis, a wide range of extra options is available. We offer a broad selection of mounting options, reducers, as well as coupling shafts and sensors. Depending on the environment, the linear axis can be equipped with various options, such as cover bands, side seals, coated guides, and stainless steel external bolts.
